Growing up in the 1970s and 1980s to a Cuban father and a Puerto Rican mother. My youth was spent in two very different worlds- New York City and Greensboro, North Carolina.. In New York, my mother was an assistant manager at the New York City Ballet during the time of Balanchine, My formative experiences were normalized around achieving and doing ones the best possible effort. My natural drive leads me to explore my surroundings and understand the world around me. My interest have been steady and lifelong. I have many but the main ones are wristwatches, music, audiophile gear, industrial design, fine art, interior spaces, furniture, and always a desire to design and make my own! I have vision and tenacity coupled with an ability to see innovations that are simple, yet not obvious.
